Gynaecologist
Dr Hanan Maghazaji
Dr Hanan Maghazaji is a highly experienced and professional gynaecologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. "It has been my privilege to dedicate my life to working as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, as this has enabled me to improve women’s quality of life and share some of their most vulnerable and intimate moments.” Dr Maghazaji started her life as a young obstetrician and gynaecologist overseas and worked in several developing countries, providing services to women under difficult circumstances. This invaluable experience has been of great assistance to her in her practice in Australia. Since 2000, Dr Maghazaji has worked in numerous Australian hospitals, initially in Queensland and then in South Australia, and has been involved in teaching and training both undergraduate and postgraduate doctors. Dr Maghazaji has been working in private practice since 2007, which has enabled her to deliver comprehensive, compassionate and professional care to women of all ages. She is committed to listening to her patients’ concerns and discussing all available options for their care, respecting their choices and helping them reach informed decisions. Providing options for her patients is paramount as she has a great dislike to the one-size-fits-all approach. Dr Preetam Ganu
Dr Preetam Ganu is a experienced Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has a keen interest in improving women’s health and delivering the highest standard of professional care for women with a warm personal touch. She is passionate about women’s healthcare, and continuously keeps herself updated with the latest developments in this field of medicine. She has trained extensively in Australia and holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists after completing similar medical training in India. Her experience in this field spans over various cities and hospitals, in Australia as well as overseas. She is a a casual specialist consultant at Women’s and Children’s Hospital and also operates out of North Eastern Community Hospital and Ashford Hospital. She is an advocate for those experiencing pelvic pain and has further developed this interest, becoming a part of the Adelaide Pelvic Pain Network, a network of likeminded professionals who are committed to helping people with pelvic pain. She is also involved in fertility treatment and is currently completing her Masters in Reproductive Medicine.

Dr Chou Ky
Dr Chou Ky attended medical school at The University of Adelaide, graduating with Honours. She has worked a number of years in public hospitals in South Australia, during which time she completed her certificate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She then completed her Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Ky has over 20 years experience in General Practice. Her areas of interests are in Womens Health, Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. She also holds a Certificate in Dermatology and Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. She can be consulted for Women's health issues as well as Aesthetic procedures. Dr Ky is committed to providing holistic women’s health care. In cosmetic aesthetics, she has an emphasis on natural results and will involve you in the decision-making process to achieve this safely and effectively. Dr Ky has two teenage children and when not working she enjoys outdoor activities and cooking up a storm for her family and friends!

Dr Wasan Maghazaji is a dedicated General Practitioner skilled in all areas of General Practice but has a special interest in women’s health, psychiatry, dermatology, weight management and is accredited for antenatal shared care as well as IUD insertion & removal. Dr Wasan like’s walking and swimming. She has 3 children and is originally from the Middle East and can speak Arabic
Physiotherapist
Tara Anderson
Tara has spent over 12 years growing her physiotherapy knowledge and skills in the areas of women's health, neck pain/headaches, low back pain, pregnancy, pilates and cancer rehabilitation. Tara is focused on providing a high level of holistic care. She has completed advanced training in Women's Health Physiotherapy, which allows her to help women with incontinence, prolapse, overactive bladder, pelvic floor related pain, endometriosis and sexual dysfunction. She is also skilled in pregnancy care, helping women reduce their individual risk of pregnancy related pelvic floor trauma, recover from birth and abdominal separation (DRAM) and return to high level activity. Tara's mission is to help restore movement, strength and confidence, so her clients can participate in the activities that give their life meaning. She believes an in depth understanding of pregnancy, menopause and all stages of the life cycle is important to help women overcome pain and physical limitations.
Clinical Psychologist
Alexandra Jolly
Alexandra brings a wealth of clinical psychological expertise, having worked with individuals, families, and executive teams. With a strong background in counselling, she excels in critical incident management. Her exceptional clinical skills are further evidenced by her association with the psychology faculty at Flinders University, where she supervises psychology interns in their clinical training. In addition to her academic credentials, Alexandra has extensive clinical experience in trauma and sleep disturbances. She is well-versed in cognitive behavioural therapy and rehabilitation, focusing on maximising clinical outcomes and providing effective treatment. Alexandra’s expertise, compassion, and empathy ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and holistic care. She is both a Member of the College of Clinical Psychologists as well as a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Dermal Therapist
Taisha D'Apollonio
With a decade-long immersion in the beauty industry, Taisha is a seasoned professional bringing seven years of specialised expertise as a dermal therapist. She loves all things skin and beauty, leading to a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry progressions. Initially graduating with a Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science, she has also pursued additional studies, completing a Bachelor of Health and Medical Science and Honours in Medical Science. Taisha's passion for further study and knowledge continues as she is currently undertaking a PHD in medicine, a testament to her dedication to further learning and improving her understanding of the body. Within our clinic, Taisha offers a comprehensive array of aesthetic services designed to rejuvenate and enhance skin health. This includes but is not limited to laser treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, LED therapy and much more. Outside of work, she loves to relax with her furry best friend and spend time with friends. Her genuine warmth and unwavering commitment to client care make her a valuable addition to our team, and we are thrilled to welcome her aboard.
Practice Manager
Sana Hadu
Sana's had the pleasure of working at Women’s Health Plus since 2012. Her roles during this time have varied, becoming the Practice Manager of the clinic in March of 2018. Sana hopes to continually lead the practice towards positive change, and ensure that Women’s Health Plus provides exceptional service throughout the entirety of your care. Sana graduated from the University of South Australia with an Honours degree in Psychology in 2017. Her honours thesis investigated the link between adverse childhood experiences and malevolent creativity. While studying Psychology, Sana had the opportunity to gain substantial work experience in the field through paid and volunteer work. These experiences include, but are not limited to, working as a Behaviour Therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), leading group therapy with prisoners at Cadell Training Centre, and counselling drug and alcohol dependent clients at DrugARM. When not at work, Sana is a passionate foodie, loves to go on adventures with her husband, and spend quality time with her big family & small circle of friends.

Stephanie Storti
Steph has recently joined the team and we couldn't be happier! Studying a Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Sciences, she has a particular interest in Sports Nutrition and Eating Disorders. Steph also has a passion for Women's Health, specifically Menopause and Pregnancy, and has already learnt so much in a short time. Outside of work and studies, Steph loves walking her dog and teaching pilates. She also used to be a barista in her past life!

Nicola Komninos
Nicola has been a beloved member of WHP since 2019. She has a special interest in women’s health and well-being, predominantly focusing her studies in the perinatal period. She completed a Bachelor of Midwifery in 2022, and officially gained registration as of January 2023 (so proud!). She has a passion for all things women’s health and is constantly seeking opportunities to further her knowledge in this area. When she isn’t in the clinic, Nicola enjoys brunching, (very) long walks, fitness, seeing friends and family and spending time with her two pups Winston and Willow.

Hayleigh joined the team at the beginning of 2023 and we are thrilled to have her. She is currently undertaking a degree in Nursing and has a particular interest in Women's and Indigenous Health.
