Buccal Facial Massage
Buccal Facial Massage is now available at Women's Health Plus.
It is a non-surgical facial treatment that lifts and contours while releasing the deep tension most women don't realise they're carrying. Buccal massage combines intra-oral and external techniques to access muscles that no surface treatment can reach, leaving the face visibly more defined and the body genuinely calmer.
It's part facial sculpting, part nervous system reset.
The Experience
The therapist begins externally, warming the skin and easing the surface tissues. Wearing gloves, she then works gently inside the mouth to access the buccinator and surrounding muscles, the ones holding tension that can't be reached any other way. For many women this is the moment they realise just how much they've been holding.
An external lymphatic drainage finishes the treatment, flushing what's been released and leaving the skin visibly lifted, brighter, and more sculpted.
60 minutes of bliss in a private treatment room right here at Women's Health Plus.
Who It Suits
Women who want visible facial definition without injectables or surgery. Women who clench or grind, sit at a screen all day, or carry tension in the jaw and shoulders. Women navigating perimenopause, high-stress seasons, or recovery from oral or facial procedures. And women who simply want a treatment that does something for the nervous system as much as the skin.
Pregnancy and Other Considerations
Buccal massage is generally well tolerated during pregnancy, though the skin therapist will always check in with you at the start of your appointment. The treatment may be modified or postponed for active dental issues, recent oral surgery, cold sores, or certain skin conditions in the treatment area. If you're unsure, please mention it when booking.
Considered Pairings
Buccal massage works beautifully on its own. For women looking to extend the results, it can be thoughtfully paired with:
-
O-Biome Oxygen Therapy Facial for skin radiance alongside muscle release
-
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy when jaw tension and pelvic floor tension show up together, as they often do
-
Clinical Psychology for women working through chronic stress or burnout patterns
