Vaginal Rejuvenation & Tightening

Petal still life

One of our latest services is in the area of vaginal rejuvenation and reconstruction. With the latest in laser therapy technology, Women's Health + can assist with all forms of laser vaginal tightening. We use IntimaLase, a unique laser therapy for non-invasive tightening of the vaginal canal. The indication for IntimaLase is vaginal relaxation syndrome, which is the loss of the optimum structural form of the vagina.

This condition is generally associated with overstretching of the vaginal canal during childbirth, as well as with natural ageing. This is a minimally invasive procedure that avoids the undesirable complications present with other vaginal tightening methods. Clinical results show a tightened vaginal canal, greater sexual satisfaction and significant improvement in a patient's quality of life.

How it works

The laser treatment is minimally invasive, using a laser technology called Fotona SMOOTH, which enables the delivery of specially composed laser energy pulses to the vaginal mucosa tissue. The energy pulses are designed to induce thermal effects in the vaginal tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling and the synthesis of new collagen fibres, with the end result being the tightening of the vaginal canal. Results may vary from patient to patient.
