Women’s Health Plus is here to provide you with expert support and guidance at every stage of your pregnancy journey. Dr Wasan Maghazaji is a highly experienced antenatal accredited GP in Adelaide, who is dedicated to providing the highest level of pregnancy care, whether this is your first child or you are already a mother.

Our team provides pre-conception counselling and pre-pregnancy management if you are considering starting a family or are trying to get pregnant. We can give you helpful advice on exercise and diet, vitamin and mineral supplements, and immunisation for women before pregnancy so that you are fully prepared and in the best possible health.
​
Once you have become pregnant, we offer affordable ongoing antenatal care under the Statewide Obstetric Shared Care Program, which allows shared antenatal care between public hospital and an accredited shared care GP. This will usually begin with a first visit to our women’s health centre when you are around 7 to 11 weeks pregnant (although it can be earlier) and then continues throughout your pregnancy.

Waiting times for first appointments at public hospitals can be long, so if you are planning GP shared care or midwifery care ring the South Australia Pregnancy information Hotline on 1300 368 820, to book your first appointment at the hospital.

Once you have delivered, Women’s Health Plus continues to provide ongoing support and postnatal care. The highly qualified team consists of a Gynaecologist, Women's Health GP and a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist.
We can provide health check-ups to ensure that your body is recovering from the birth and that you are coping emotionally as well. Any services we are unable to provide at our clinic, we can help link you to an appropriate provider.
